What is Daayu?
Daayu provides the best services for hosting, tagging, searching and publishing photos and videos. Our tools can help you organize and broadcast your photos and videos quickly to share with your family, friends, and all public users.
In Daayu, you can tag, publish and share your photos and videos, and join any groups you have interested in to share your life.

Is Daayu's service free forever?
Yes. Our basic plan is free forever. However, we provides premium services for extra storage.
About Photos & Videos
How can I upload my photos and videos?
We have provided 2 methods for uploading your photos and videos:

You can use your browser to upload maximum 10 photos and maximum 1 videos at one time;

You can use our advanced uploader to upload maximum 100 MB photos and videos. Of course you need to install our advanced uploader first;
Will my uploaded photos and videos be deleted? Can I delete my photos and videos?
We will not delete your photos and videos unless you upload inappropriate or illegal photos and videos.
You can delete your photos and videos. However, when you delete any photos and videos, all the original copies and those posted to any albums or groups are also deleted. Please be careful to use this function.
Are there any limitation for quality, size, format of photo and video?
We have the following requirements for the format of photos and videos:

Photo: JPG

Video: MPEG、WMV、AVI
Each uploaded photos are resized to the following size for better browsing:

75x75 pixels

100 pixels (width)

240 pixels (width)

500 pixels (width)

Also we do not have limitation of size of the uploaded photos and videos.
Are my photos and videos free to publish online?
When you become our registered member, you can have right to upload photos and videos. For the free plan, you can upload maximum 30M of photos and videos each month. And all other services except specified are free to use.
How can I prohibit download of my photos and videos from browser or my photos and videos being referred by others?
Daayu allows any users to keep public photos and videos. Also, you can specify the privacy level (public, friends view only, and private) for your photos and videos to prohibit others to view and copy your photos and videos.
What is album? How can I use it?
You can select any photos and videos to albums for better organization. You can go to "My Albums" to browse all your own albums.
You can create any number of albums and each albums can contain any number of photos and videos. After using albums, you will find that it is very easy to create your albums.
How can I add background music to my albums?
You can select any one of the albums and click "Edit this album". Then you can select "Background Music" tab in the top menu and follow the instructions to upload or select your background music.
How can I change the order of the photos and videos in albums?
You can select any one of the albums and click "Edit this album". Then you can select "arrange" tab in the top menu, and use mouse to drag your photos to the appropriate position and click "Save" finally.
How can I get the external link of my photos and videos?
Daayu provides the method for you to get external link of your photos and videos. You can find the links in the photo or video detail page and copy those links to other web pages.
How can I change my public photos and videos to be private?
Yes. You can change privacy level of your photos and videos at any time.
Where can I browse other members' photos and videos?
You can browse photos and videos in our public area. Of course, you can use other search box in the top of the page to search any photos/videos/albums you like.
About Groups
How can I share my photos and videos to groups?
It is very simple. First, you need to become member of the group you want to join, then you can share your photos and videos to that group by click "Edit" in the photo/video box in the group's front page or in "My Groups" page.
How can I unjoin the group?
Go to "My Groups" page, select the groups you want to unjoin and click "Unjoin". You can join that group later if you want.
What are the differences between public, public but invitation only, and private groups?
There are 3 types of groups:

Public Group: All registered members can join.

Public But Invitation Only Group: All registered members can apply for joining the group. Group owner can approve or reject them.

Private Group: Only group owner can invite others to join.
How can I change my groups' type (public, public but invitation only, private)?
If you are group owner of that group, you can go to "My Groups" page and click "Edit" beside that group. Then you can select "Settings" tab in the top menu, and change group type you like.
How can I delete my own groups?
Once all your group members has been unjoined your groups, you can delete those groups by going to "My Groups" page, select those groups, and click "Delete Group".
How can I become the group owner?
Only the group creator can become group owner of that group. Group owner can have right to remove any members/photos/videos/albums in the groups.
About Account
Can I change my password?
After login, you are going to "My Daayu" page and can click "My Account" in the left menu. Then you can select "Change Password" in the top menu, and change the password here.
If I forgot my password, how can I do?
If you forgot your password, please go to login page, click "Forgot Password" and enter your email address. Daayu will send your password to your registered email address.
Can I change my profile information?
Yes. After you login Daayu, you can go to "My Daayu" page, and click "My Profile" in the left menu. Then you can change your information and icon here.
About Tags
What is tag?
Adding tags can help you better organize your photos and videos. It is a simple and useful way to describe your photos and videos. We recommend you to enter tags when you upload photos and videos.
About My Friends
Are there limitation of the number of my friends?
No limitation.
How can I delete my friends?
You can go to "My Friends" page to delete any friends you select.
About Comments
How can I know others who make comments on my photos and videos?
When others make comments on your photos and videos, you can check comment history in "My Records" page.
Who can make comments on my photos and videos?
All registered members. However, you can configure privacy level of the photos and videos to avoid others to view your photos and make comments.
About RSS
What is RSS?
RSS allows you to see when sites from all over the internet have added new
content. You can get the latest headlines and photos (or even audio files,
articles or video) in one place, as soon as they are published, without having
to remember to visit each site every day.
What are the RSS supports provided by Daayu?
When you see any RSS icon  in the pages, you can use RSS provided by Daayu just by clicking it.
